Usage of pirated software is rampant in countries like India, Sri lanka, Bangladesh etc. Finding a pirated software user is not an arduous task.

Does that mean that everybody who uses/sells/downloads/stores pirated software is :
- An offender in the eyes of law? Well, technically speaking, YES.
- Should be booked for an offence? Well, technically speaking, YES.

After a complex and a extremely tiring legal procedure which involves a number of govt authorities and sometimes extends up to a few months, legal action is initiated against the offending companies/individuals.

The management of the offending company or the individual in question is then asked to buy Genuine Software Licenses directly from the software company or through its authorized reseller.
